Robin Tunney studied acting at the Chicago Academy for the Performing Arts, and later moved to Los Angeles, finding work in television, including Law & Order, Life Goes On, Dream On and a recurring role on Class of '69.

In the early 90’s, Robin made her screen debut in notable roles such as Ella in Encino Man, and Debra, the head shaving teenager, in Empire Records.

Robin was cast in her first starring role as Sarah in The Craft (1996). Since then, her career has led her to a number of starring and co-starring roles including Supernova, Vertical Limit, The Twilight Zone, and Shadow of Fear . Her work in independent films such as Niagara Niagara which earned her the Venice Film Festival's Volpi Cup for Best Actress.

Her more recent projects include The Zodiac and appearances on House, the tv series.
