Actor Sam Coppola
Sam tells us about his character and gives details of the scene he’s shooting. He illuminates the process of researching his character; the trip to the office of a real life version of the man he’s playing---a place with “an army of lawyers on 23 floors”. Sam discusses his friendship with writer-director Alan Hruska and his experiences working with Alan and other directors.
Veteran actor Sam Coppola has appeared in almost 100 movies, TV shows and on and off Broadway performances, including The Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight, Serpico, Fatal Attraction, and Saturday Night Fever. Two years ago he did what most people his age (we're not telling) would never be able to pull off -- he starred in seven shows a week in the off-Broadway revival of Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot wherein The New York Times called him “a pleasure to watch . . . working some fine shtick”. Sam and Hruska met on the director’s first film, Nola, and they quickly became great friends. Sam has starred in all of Hruska's films and will play a leading role in his upcoming play.
