Writer and director Alan Hruska talks about his visions in casting the movie. He tells the story of meeting Jessica Hecht, his excitement about working with Brett Cullen and Cynthia Stevenson and his relationships with Jamey Sheridan, David Thornton and Sam Coppola.
Happenings:
Three of the actors in Reunion worked with Hruska in prior films. This ensemble cast was a dream come true for the director. Although the process of casting took much time, patience and effort, it resulted in a spirited amalgam of talent.

Alan Hruska, the writer-director of two independent films, Nola (Tribeca Film Festival, 2003) and The Warrior Class (Hamptons Film Festival 2005) was also the director of the recent off-Broadway production of Waiting for Godot, author of the novel, Borrowed Time (Dial Press, 1986), co-founder and chairman of the book publishing company, Soho Press, and a member of the Actors Studio, Playwrights and Directors Unit.
