The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), held in Toronto, Canada, is widely considered to be one of the top film festivals in the world. It is the premiere film festival in North America from which the Oscars race begins. It is the world's largest film festival open to the general public [1].

A bio-pic about the life and suicide of Ian Curtis, lead singer of the 1970s British band Joy Division. Based on a book by his widow, Deborah Curtis. Director ANTON CORBIJN, a Dutch rock photographer, moved to England in the late 1970s specifically because of his fascination with Joy Division. Actor SAM RILEY, on the 180-degree shift in his life: from a career that was "going nowhere" to a feature film debut as an icon of rock. European actress ALEXANDRA MARIA LARA on her sympathetic portrayal of Annik Honore, whose affair with Curtis ended his marriage shortly before his 1980 suicide.
