The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), held in Toronto, Canada, is widely considered to be one of the top film festivals in the world. It is the premiere film festival in North America from which the Oscars race begins. It is the world's largest film festival open to the general public [1].

In a German concentration camp, Jewish counterfeiters dodge extermination and live in luxury as long as they produce the forged currency that supports the Reich. Writer/Director STEFAN RUZOWITZKY, an Austrian-German whose own grandparents supported the Nazi party, on the moral implications of making a concentration camp film. Lead actor KARL MARKOVICS on discarding his historical perspective in order to play the Jewish master counterfeiter whose skill saved his life while helping the Nazis.
