Film Sales

Highlights:

Film sales agent ANDREW HERWITZ (of The Film Sales Company) is selling five films at the TIFF this year, so Filmcatcher lucks out when he shuts off his cell phone and takes a few minutes out of a hectic day to explain how he finds the films he reps, the nuts and bolts of brokering deals between filmmakers and distributors, and some sage advice for filmmakers.

Happenings:

On the last  day of the festival we'll be watching Gregg Araki's Smiley Face and Paul Crowder and Murray Lerner's Amazing Journey: The Story of The Who.
