Review of Roman De GareFun, Suspenseful Mystery...This film really holds your interest, since it's got lots of twists and turns, and it's not at all hard to follow. The acting is great--Fanny Ardant (Judith Ralitzer) and Dominique Pinon (Pierre) were excellent. I especially liked Audrey Dana, who plays Huguette, the abandoned hairdresser. I wasn't surprised when she asked Pierre, Judith Ralitzer's ghost writer, to pretend to be her fiance for a family visit, but the rest of the movie kept me guessing. The characters were all very believable and engaging, and I was totally engrossed, hoping that it would keep on going longer. The ending wasn't quite what I was looking for after all the exciting build-up, but it was still satisfying. An intelligent thriller, complete with an escaped serial killer, secrets, plots, and romance. Posted on 06/29/08 by: stick Post a Comment
