Zoo

This is one of the worst films I've ever seen. Honestly, I use the word 'film' as loosely as I possibly can. Their re-enactments are laughable as is their attempt to get the audience to sympathize with people who actually think it's okay to have sex with animals. Give me a break.

i wouldn't say that the film 'sympathizes' with the people involved as much as it makes a move to humanize them, which i think is a worthwhile goal in the wake of the sensationalist reporting of the original story. this movie is absolutely gorgeous and manages fascinating portraiture out of very dark material.
