Kirk Faulkner is not only a content editor and online community organizer but an award winning screenwriter as well. After receiving his graduate degree from New York University in Dramatic Writing, he went to work for the Weinstein Company as a reader and development assistant. His experience with online community organizing really began when he was offered a job setting up an online community site for Warner Music and its subsidiary labels where new media experts could exchange ideas and tactics to save the faltering music industry from the ravishes of illegal downloads. After developing a site called "Moving the Needle" for a year, Kirk used his experience to help develop several sites and on-line communities including Uncensored Interview, a site dedicated to the development of the independent music artists, and Spock With a Beard, a general pop-culture site.. He now brings these skills and experiences to film catcher and is providing the team with vision and direction in the tumultuous seas of online community organization and utilization. He is very excited to finally be developing for a site dealing with his one true love: film.
