Review of 2121The film is a hodgepodge of been-there-done-that plot elements and caters exclusively to today's ADD-riddled generation. It explains very little of the science and mathematics behind the caper (a cursory and incomplete reference to the Monty Hall Problem is deemed satisfactory in trying to belittle the viewer), and only tangentially makes use of the book's real-life plotline, wherein the M.I.T. students who conquered Vegas blackjack actually appeared to have brains. This is a Hollywood distillation of a complex, brilliant scheme, and falls flat in the end. I saw this film in theaters for free, and I'm certainly glad I didn't pay. Dude, tell me about it. my problem is I did pay! 13.99 on a hotel pay-per view thingy! I fell asleep before the end though. i imagine the main character learned some sort of valuable lesson right? Hopefully-"Don't be in crappy movies".
