Having seen the film a few times I was always ambivalent towards the character of Penny Lane…until I saw the Director's Edition. It features a lot of great stuff, but for me it's the "Birthday party" scene; it's such a telling moment in the story and it managed to completely change my feelings towards the character! If you haven’t had a chance to see it I highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan! dougiejr3 Posted on 10/29/07
