Review of Friends With Money
Living With Choices...First off, an all star cast drives this amazing Drama vehicle by detailing the lives of very different, but similar, friends. Those that have money, and those that are striving to make ends meet. Frances McDormand shines, as does Jason Isaacs, and Jennifer Aniston. The film's premise opens the dialogue of whether money makes us happy, or is it the choices we make in life? I say, it's the choices we make in life. Would my life be a little easier if I had a little more income? Sure, but would that enable me to make a friend any easier? Would that change how I conduct my relationships - probably not. It was a nice film but the ending bothered me a lot. I had the impression we were supposed to be happy for the Jennifer Aniston character because she found a guy with money. That's, after all, sort of all we know about the guy. He looks like a jerk and then we find out he's got money and suddenly he's not supposed to look like a jerk anymore.
