Review of Lars and the Real Girl

Ryan and the Real Actor...

A great movie about family, love, and mental illness - all of which we all have at one time or another (even if we care to ignore it) Gosling turns in another teriffic performance, as does Paul Schneider and Emily Mortimer. The battle of loneliness versus hospitality and love is amazingly shown through Lars and his brother, and sister in law. The film depicts what it really means to love someone and to reach out to them, and try to understand them. Wonderful and excellent!
