Review of Michael ClaytonGreat thinking man's film*Over the weekend I had the chance to catch Michael Clayton starring George Clooney. This film surrounds the high powered world of chemical company and the firm that protects it's dirty little secrets. Michael Clayton (George Clooney) has a very important role with the Law firm that is getting in over it's head. After a co-worker discovers critical evidence against their client and tries to set things right George becomes inbroiled in a life or death fight against corporate corruption. Though this movie got off to a slow start, after the first 15 to 20 minutes the pace began to pick up immediately and I was hooked. The dialogue in this film was great and I have to give two thumbs up to the script writers on this one for sure. I do have to say I hope that George is nominated for his role in this film because its the best I've seen him. This movie won't be for everyone. The group i took was a 50/50 split love-hate with this film but if you love intelligent dialogue and face paced criminal drama than this film is for you!
