Juno

Review of Juno

Simply true...

Fell in love with the film because I didn't know what to expect, never seen a trailer until the last half hour before the showing. This might be my rule to follow from here on out: don't buy the hype and see what seems intriguing without being influenced by a mass culture of film critics.

Her spunky attitude, and her handling of a very delicate issue is all the while surprising and believable. How could a girl her age really be so great at coping with pregnancy? Well, she is handling it well and then the film makes her character really think of what she is really dealing with. Juno's vigor is inspiring and the parental figures are there in every way, which is refreshing and they come off being relatable not some wannabe-film-parents. They don't try too hard, and that's what makes this film golden on many levels.

It is sitting, resting in the environment it is in, and telling you a story that anyone could probably put their lives into her shoes. Cera is amazing young actor, and his sensitivity is genuine and authentic. He has all the elements of a teenager not quite sure how to deal but he does. It just works.

I don't have any bad comments about the film because I really enjoyed the film.
