Damon Smith is a New York-based film journalist. He has written features, profiles, and reviews for The Boston Globe, Time Out New York, Filmmaker magazine, Senses of Cinema, Bright Lights Film Journal, and many other publications. Several of his interviews with notable writer-directors will appear in the forthcoming anthology Action!: Director Interviews from Classical Hollywood to Contemporary Iran (Anthem Press, 2008).
