Plot Summary
Mark and Jay Duplass’s feature The Puffy Chair was one of the breakout hits from the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. It also won the Audience Award at SXSW that year and was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards. Mark and Jay first made a name for themselves with a string of award-winning short films, including this is JOHN and Scrabble, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2003 and 2004, respectively. The Duplass Brothers are currently writing and directing films for both Universal and Fox Searchlight and are working on The Trail, a television show coproduced with the Weitz brothers.
